Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using OurPaperVoices ("the Service"), operated by Adams Technologies LLC, d/b/a Our Paper Voices ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

OurPaperVoices is an AI-powered voice cloning and audio narration platform. The Service allows you to create a digital clone of your voice and use it to generate narrated audio of the Urantia Papers. All audio output is generated by artificial intelligence and is clearly labeled as such.

3. Voice Cloning Consent

Before using the voice cloning feature, you must provide explicit, informed consent. By recording your voice sample and proceeding with voice clone creation, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • Your voice recording constitutes biometric data and will be processed to create a digital voiceprint.
  • We comply with the Texas Capture or Use of Biometric Identifier Act (CUBI) and treat your voice data accordingly.
  • Your voice data will be used solely for the purpose of generating AI-narrated audio of the Urantia Papers within the Service.
  • You may revoke consent and request deletion of your voice data at any time.

4. AI-Generated Content

All audio content produced by OurPaperVoices is generated using artificial intelligence. Generated audio is labeled as AI-generated in both the user interface and embedded file metadata (ID3 tags). You acknowledge that the generated audio is a synthetic reproduction and not a human recording.

5. Payment Terms

The Service offers the following pricing for audio generation:

  • Single paper: $5 per paper
  • Part bundle: $70 per part (all papers in a part)
  • Full book: $300 for all 196 papers

Payments are processed securely through Stripe. All sales are non-refundable once audio generation has begun, as AI-generated content is produced specifically for your voice clone and cannot be reused.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Impersonate another person or clone a voice without that person's explicit consent.
  • Create audio for fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading purposes.
  • Redistribute, resell, or commercially exploit generated audio content.
  • Generate content that is harmful, abusive, threatening, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or replicate the underlying voice models or AI systems.

7. Data Retention

Your voice data (recordings and generated voiceprints) will be retained while your account is active. Voice data will be permanently destroyed within 30 days of any of the following events:

  • You delete your voice clone through the Service.
  • You revoke your voice cloning consent.
  • Your account has been inactive for 1 year (no logins or audio generation activity).
  • You request account deletion.

Generated audio files remain available in your library while your account is active.

8. Intellectual Property

The text of the Urantia Papers is in the public domain. The AI-generated audio narrations produced through the Service are for your personal, non-commercial use only. You retain no intellectual property rights in the underlying voice cloning technology or AI models used by the Service.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Adams Technologies LLC, d/b/a Our Paper Voices shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
